Sad news.. SAGE STALLONE Sylvester's Son Dies Of Overdose

TMZ reports.. Sage Stallone -- Sylvester Stallone's son -- has died and sources tell us the cause was an overdose of pills.

The details surrounding the death are still unclear .. but we're told he was found in his L.A. home by either a maid or his girlfriend. Paramedics were called to the home and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Sources tell us authorities are trying to determine if the death was intentional or accidental.

We're told Sylvester is a "wreck."

Sage famously made his film debut alongside his father in the 1990 movie "Rocky 5" -- playing the role of Rocky's son Robert Balboa.

He went on to act and direct in several films ... including the 1996 film "Daylight."

Sage's mother is Sasha Czack.


UPDATE: 5:15 PM PT: Sylvester Stallone's rep, Michelle Bega, tells TMZ, "Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son Sage Stallone. His compassion and thoughts are with Sage's mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man. His loss will be felt forever."

Breaking News..Simon Whitfield to Carry The Canadian Flag for Canada

Triathlete Simon Whitfield will carry Canada's flag in the opening ceremonies at the London Olympics.

Canada's flagbearer will be introduced this morning on the front lawn of Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

Victoria's Whitfield captured gold for Canada at the 2000 Sydney Games where triathlon made its debut, then followed it up with a silver at the 2008 Beijing Games.

The opening ceremonies are July 27.

Kourtney Kardashian Gives Birth to Baby Girl!

The Kardashian clan just got bigger: Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to a baby girl!

Kourtney and Scott Disick are now the proud parents of Penelope Scotland Disick, the reality star confirms to E!.

"Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably," she said in a statement.

The newborn weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was delivered via an all-natural birth.

Kourtney was just seen showing off her big baby bump on Thursday, leaving Barney's in Beverly Hills after a shopping trip with her mom (above).

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star revealed earlier this year that the couple's second kid would be a girl. The two also have a two-year-old son, Mason.

"I even wanted a girl the first time -- and then we had Mason and it couldn't have been any better," she told OK! back in February. "We're very fortunate to have the combination that everyone wishes for."
